The T series of STA denotes the concurrent application of two or more measuring methods to the same sample. The classic simultaneous method is the combination of TGA with DSC or DTA.
It has obviously gained (TG curve, DTA curve and DSC curve) by a single sample in an STA instrument than separate application in two different instruments. The test conditions are perfectly identical for the TG and DSC signals (same atmosphere, flow rate, heating rate, thermal contact to the sample crucible and sensor, radiation effect, etc.).
The STA has researched into thermal information includes phase change, liquation, decomposition, chemical combination, crystallization , adsorption, sublimation, mass change, evaporation…, It’s widely used in special fields in university such as inorganic, organic, polymer, metallurgy, materials, geology, mining, agriculture, textile, petroleum, chemistry and chemical engineering, biological, medical science...etc.
